The Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine, a leading institution dedicated to breast cancer research and patient care along with Dr. Xiang Zhang note that the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation plays a pivotal role in securing federal and state funding which empowers ongoing projects. These initiatives cover research into how aging affects breast cancer progression, understanding the mechanics of treatment resistance and metastasis, and exploring regulation of endocrine resistance and metastasis in ER+ breast cancer.
